A JavaScript Code Editor for a Grid.

Create games, simulations, or anything on a Grid.

Grid Engine is an early prototype of a tool, where you can challenge yourself to learn coding, or just to push your skills to the limit with a simple grid.

Get Started

• As you have seen, you can run the tool on the website.
• Create a new project, and open it by clicking it.
• You can change the name and description of the project from the bottom right.
• If you press CTRL+SPACE in the code editor -> you get the autocomplete window. It includes everything needed in JavaScript.
• Now you can code anything you want. You can find the documentation from the MENU. (It includes drawing, detecting keyboard/mouse inputs and more...)
• There's also a notable mention about projects. Because they are saved to website's localStorage, which can be cleared from the browser. So important projects' code should be downloaded from the download button. (Or copied to somewhere from the copy code button)

About

Grid Engine is still a prototype, and the dream for the project would be to make it into it's own website, and let people share their projects. There are also many key features still in the works. So all support towards this dream is hugely appreciated.
